Checklist Maker is designed as an offline-first productivity tool. All checklists, tasks, subtasks, notes, categories, reminders, and application settings created by the user are stored strictly on your local device in an offline SQLite database.

We do not host external servers that collect, upload, transmit, or sell your personal checklist data, tasks, or user content.

2. Application Permissions

To provide core features like task reminders, push alerts, and offline database operations, Checklist Maker requests the following standard system permissions. Each permission is strictly used for its intended purpose:

• INTERNET Needed to retrieve AdMob ads, receive OneSignal push notifications, and perform online status checks.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Used by AdMob and OneSignal to verify whether active Wi-Fi or mobile data is connected before attempting network operations.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS Required on Android 13+ (API 33+) to deliver task reminder notifications and push alerts to the user.
• VIBRATE Provides haptic feedback and phone vibration when task reminders or push notifications arrive.
• WAKE_LOCK Momentarily wakes the processor when the screen is off so scheduled reminders execute at the user-selected time.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED Allows the app to automatically reschedule active user task reminders after the mobile device finishes booting up or restarting.

3. Third-Party Services & Analytics

Checklist Maker integrates trusted third-party SDKs to provide advertising and notification features. These third-party providers may collect limited technical data (such as advertising IDs, IP addresses, device parameters, and OS version) in accordance with their privacy policies:

You have full ownership and control over your checklist data:

• JSON Backup & Restore: You can create a complete offline JSON backup of all your checklists or restore backups at any time.
• Data Deletion: Deleting tasks, categories, or checklists permanently erases them from your device storage.
• App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the application completely removes all locally stored app data.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is a general-purpose productivity tool.
