RAM Monitor Widget retrieves device-wide memory telemetry (RAM usage, available memory, CPU/battery status where applicable) via standard Android and Linux kernel system APIs in real-time. This information is processed strictly on your device.

2. Local-First Storage

All memory snapshots and history records saved by the app reside solely within your device's private, encrypted SQLite/Room database. No external servers or cloud services are used to store your usage data.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full ownership and control over your data. You can clear all recorded history snapshots or reset preferences directly from the app's History or Settings screen at any time.

4. Advertising and Third-Party Services

We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements within the app. Google AdMob may collect and use certain data (such as device identifiers and advertising IDs) in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Where required by law (e.g., EEA and UK users), user consent is collected via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP).

5. Permissions Used

Our app requests the following system permissions to operate core features:

INTERNET: Required to fetch remote maintenance configurations and load advertisements.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to verify network connectivity status.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to display RAM alerts and notifications.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Required to automatically restore background monitoring and widget updates after device reboot.
WAKE_LOCK: Required for reliable background task processing and widget updates.

We integrate selected third-party SDKs and libraries that assist in app functionality and advertising:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) & UMP: Used for displaying ads and managing user privacy consent (GDPR/EEA compliance).
